[EMAIL PROTECTED]: "So the CIA brought out almost the entire population of
Serbia against Slobo yesterday? . . . "

LP: The revolt against Milosevic was the culmination of ten years of
subversion . . .
. . . 4. Failure of the western left to show solidarity to a country under
siege, . . .

That's it folks. Those who embrace the downfall of Milosevic are embracing
counter-revolution.

The past week illuminates the emptiness of some of the
criticism of NATO's assault on Milo, namely any references
to self-determination or defense of Yugo sovereignty.

Whether anyone here likes it or not, the action against
Milo has all the signs of a popular uprising. The fact
that it may be founded on reactionary tendencies, funded
by the CIA or Kapital, or that
it greases the skids for Serbia's integration into the new
neo-liberal order means that one could legitimately oppose
it out of positive support for Milo, for which there is not
much justification, or negative support for NATO, for which
there is a great deal of justification.

But it has nothing to do with Serbia's national rights versus
NATO's grasping. If self-determination means anything, it
means the right to be what you want to be, including a slave
to the EU/NATO/US. All this crap about the rude opposition . . .
if the same tactics were employed by the glorious proletariat,
or by some primitive anti-NATO nationalists, think of all the
cheering.

Th-th-th-th-that's all, folks.
