it's more feudal, paternalistic, putting all sorts of spiritual stuff into
places it doesn't belong. The focus seems to be on giving kids an education
almost as good as that of the University of Southern California, without
being in as "bad" a neighborhood, though the emphasis on such things as
research and multiculturalism is on the rise.
