hee hee. after a debate was just carried on by way of reading what was
available on the 'net? hee hee.
it's a test, like any other we often complain about. it measures, not
substantive knowledge, but skills at taking tests; access to resources,
memorization. about the only skill is "research" skill insofar as one
knows how to manipulate tools, do so more quickly than others (which might
merely me some of us, me, spend our work day in front of a 'fuser trying
hard not to work), and know what to use to search most efficiently.
p.s. google.com tells you how long it takes to search for the results, too.
