If I believed that labor force growth was going to slow to zero and
labor productivity growth slow to less than 1% per year in the middle
of this century, then I would agree with you: we need to build up the
net assets of the government in order to pre-fund Soc Sec.
But I don't believe that labor force growth will slow to zero. And I
don't believe that productivity growth will slow much either...
