Jim, you jest, but you are not far off the mark, the rich DO die of different
things. If you think of the USA as wealthy, and a whole lot of other countries
as poor, then US citizens, especially the well to do, get more cancer and heart
disease the many poorer countries. Almost all can be linked to over-eating
high fat animal foods -- countries where the primary diet is rice, legumes, and
vegetables with small amounts of fish have almost no breast cancer or prostate
cancer and far reduced rates of heart disease. Of course, this is coming from
a woman who loves a nice steak, but eats less and less because she too is
beginning to have health problems from the standard american diet. maggie
