The Judi Bari bombing trial is about to start in
Oakland.
I'm not one to latch onto conspiracy theories-- I read
the latest thread on this with great interest-- and I
think all the usual JFK stuff, etc. is hokum. BUT,
there are conspiracies within what I would call the
faux-left. And the story behind the story of the Bari
bombing is filled with intrigue and deceit, but not
from the government--it's dubious characters of the
northern California eco and leftist movements who are
pushing this suit. It's apparent to me that much of
the left is being hoodwinked on this Bari bombing
stuff, and prominent Nation Magizine types and others
are signing onto this without knowing the facts. I
think a considered look at the facts at least suggests
that the bombing is nothing more than a domestic
violence case blown way out of proportion, by
so-called leftists who hope to profit immensely from
it.
The latest news is that Tony Serra has dropped out as
a a Bari lawyer, without comment, but I would guess
because he sees that the case is nonsense.
I'll spare you any more details unless anyone on this
list is interested. If so, I'll post more info.
