This is what I mean by replacing marxist historical understanding with
the moral rage of the petty bourgeoisie. Lenin noted that the petty
bourgeois youth driven to a frenzy by the horrors of imperialism was a
commonplace occurrence. I experienced just that in my battles with the
Weathermen in the '60s. I did not know that in 2001 I would confront
juvenile weatherman ideology in mature marxists.
