Yes, but not just in the U.S. Two of the biggest reinsurers are European - Swiss Re and Munich Re (who are, by the way, both very concerned about climate change leading to more severe storms, unlike their U.S. counterparts). The consensus is that while a few little insurers may go under, the big ones can handle it. Doug
