I have been been largely silent because I do not have any idea about
what is happening. What is a war on terrorism? Would it include Nelson
Mandela of a few years ago? Would it include CISPES or group that
raises money for Palestinian children?
Certainly NATO has the military might to defeat all of the Muslim
nations. Or even the "bad" Muslim nations. Wouldn't a country, such as
Pakistan, be destabilized by cooperating in an attack on Afghanistan?
Couldn't a destabilized have terrible consequences for India?
Wouldn't this total war on terrorism recruit terrorists? How can civil
liberties be maintained in such an environment?
I heard John McCain worry about giving Shrub a Gulf of Tonkin
resolution, but isn't that what's going to happen?
I have no idea what is going on and, I suspect, neither do those who are
in charge of making all these disastrous decisions.
