========== Sorry for not replying earlier. Two ethnographies of global production I found useful are: "The Critical Study of Work: Labor, Technology and Global Production" ed. by Rick Baldoz, Charles Koeber and Philip Kraft. "Rising from the Ashes: Labor in the Age of 'Global Capitalism'" ed. by Ellen Wood Peter Meiksins and Michael Yates. There's also a new anthology edited by Michael Burawoy that looks interesting but I have not read it yet. Ian
