Pim Fortuyn was shot dead by a guy in a baseball cap around 6 pm tonight. He had just been doing a radio interview in Hilversum. The official confirmation of his death hasn't yet been given, but the news reporters assume his is in fact dead. I have a lot of thoughts milling about in my head, but perhaps some further reflection is better left until later.
