it is unfortunate that in this moment of truth, when we on the left can hold up these incidents to the general public as an example of the problems with the system, the collective attention is distracted by bush jr's war on the world and the recently fashionable but misplaced patriotic euphoria and intolerance. since it seems true that the actions of enron, worldcom et al has affected many more lives than that of the al qaeda, perhaps we can call for a war on corporate terrorism? --ravi
