No, the opposite is true. In less-educated and lower-income sectors, the tendency to accept government lies is even deeper. I suspect that the only exception to this right now is in minority communities and the academy.Not necessarily. We are dealing with a quite reactionary _voting_ public, that is with a slight majority among a minority. What the politics of the majority (non-voting) are (or might become under different conditions) remains to be determined. (Bloody reversals could work both ways.)Carrol
