Sorry about the blank message. Lee Kuan Yew was prime minister of Singapore from 1959-1990. Although Singapore did very well in economic terms during his term of office he was quite authoritarian argued against liberal principles such as habeas corpus etc. He could probably get a job as legal consultant to Bush on the rights of terrorists.
