Actually, psychoanalysis has virtually disappeared from psychiatry and serious neuro-science. It survives only in literary criticism and among those marxists Timpanaro described as believing the "Freud never made a mistake." Fewer and fewer medical schools have psychoanalysts on their faculty even. Carrol
