Germany, France and Russia - Europe's leading opponents to the US-led war in Iraq - today agreed to vote in favour of the UN resolution on Iraq that Washington hopes will attract troops and money to stabilise the country. The decision was made during a 45-minute conference call with the German chancellor, Gerhard Schröder, the French president, Jacques Chirac, and the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, Mr Schröder said.
