Bring the Troops Home Now

WASHINGTON, DC-Tens of thousands of people from 140 regional
organizing centers in cities around the country are preparing to
board buses to come and fill the streets of Washington, D.C. for a
major rally and march this Saturday Oct. 25.  Protesters will be
joined by well known voices saying no to the Bush Administration's
agenda of endless war.  Speakers at the rally include:

Martin Luther King III, civil rights leader

Coming on the eve of the PATRIOT Act's second anniversary, the
Washington mobilization will  oppose the Bush Administration attacks
on civil liberties by marching near the White House and the Justice
Department.

Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (A.N.S.W.E.R) and United for Peace
and Justice are organizing this protest as a conference committee of
the Senate and House of Representatives prepares to put the final
touches on Bush's $87 billion request to fund the illegal occupation
of Iraq.
