It's off with Gramsci and on with Che. . . .l love them both, but as I re-read Jon Anderson's 1997 book on Che and the Cuban revolution. . .and as I read deeper into how Lenin made the Russian revolution. . .and as I reflect on how the IRA, Sandinistas and Vietnamese made their revolutions (especially the Vietnamese who defeated two giants in a row. . .and who threw out the Chinese in 900). . .and as I watch PBS' Liberty's Kids with my daughter and read Vidal and review the revolutionary violence of the Americans against the British. . . .I am becoming more convinced that the war of maneuver is in our near future. . .
And for those NSC folk reading this. . .I just want to say that I'm only speaking academically. . .so to speak!
