The other interesting thing going on is the trivialization of the campaign, with major statements being made about Kerry's donning of a clean suit at NASA, debunking his mouth-to-mouth resuscitation of a hamster, etc. I strongly suspect that the corporate media will be going gung-ho for BUSH in the next few months.
