Dear Jim,
I would like to make sure that my remark about 'an economist from a
college founded by the Society of Jesus' was taken as it was meant to
be, as a try at humor, expressing what I have found in my
Jesuit-educated friends to be pretty intense disputation, usually very
well thought-out. While your comments may or may not be that intense, I
am aware of how many insightful contributions you make on Pen-L and
elsewhere.
