I think Nader expressed this issue succinctly on election night on Fox News when he said, "Obama has a very tough decision to make -- he must decide whether he will be Uncle Sam to the people or Uncle Tom to the corporations." The Fox guy suddenly got religion, blew up and wouldn't let Nader give the historical meaning of Uncle Tom.
