Well, I'm so used to "Marxists" regretting (or denying) that the CCP has abandoned not merely Marxism but socialism as well that I can scarcely blame Krugman for failing to realize that the Chinese could not possibly "abandon Marxism" or "abandon socialism" because neither had any existence in "Communist" China under Mao, Deng, and their epigones.
