The inarticulate vision of our earth American left, was incredibly accurate and the logic behind the vision was converted into an organizing tool that gripped the masses; a hundred million people got scared at the same time and said, "oh shit, everything is coming apart, give it to the black guy with the funny name, because they don't want to work anyway and we can beat up the Mexicans and have all the jobs." . Mothers with children in arms pleaded for the working class of the Midwest not to follow the Bush W. path. Sections of our military and intelligence agencies became polarized and start leaking information because they were scared of being put in jail under a "new and improved" Patriot Act. Our Jeb Bush was defeated in Florida and the black people could vote in relative peace. Everyone took part in creating a different future/present. The CPUSA said, "we are going to vote our way into something and if we lucky, we will be able to drive big cars again. Long Live the Industrial Proletariat, all 12 of them, which happen to be my cousins." That is how our earth created a different future, a different time line. Having discovered the means to breach the threshold separating our two earths, 3 million people - sliders, all white middle class folks, have volunteered to go to the other earth and fight for a new vision. When asked why blacks would not slide, all of them responded, "I might slide back into slavery. Let's wait to see what happen to the white peoples."
