I know 18% is only a little better than nothing, but it's also only 32% less than you need to win. :) I thought that was pretty respectable for an unknown running against a media superstar, but that's not the same set of conditions he'll face next year. This time he'll be running against an unknown incumbent. Two thirds of New Yorkers don't know who the hell Gillibrand is, so she has no name recognition. Now, I realize that *nobody* knows who Tasini is, but a lot of city folk look down there noses at Gillibrand, who I've heard referred to as "Tracy Flick" at times.(I never saw the movie) That Annie Oakley act may play in Oneonta, not so much in Manhattan. -- In Solidarity, Billy O'Connor _______________________________________________ pen-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.csuchico.edu/mailman/listinfo/pen-l
