I wasn't disagreeing with you. I'm reacting to the fact that in academia (and even elsewhere), two opposing camps are often described concerning some issue without addressing the possibility that their views could be complementary. This very common academic approach keeps futile debates going, while allowing some to publish articles and even get tenure...
