The IMF now says that its new $100 million loan to Haiti will be interest-free, will not carry any policy conditionality, and that the IMF will work immediately to cancel all of Haiti's debt to the IMF, including the new loan. Maybe being trashed by Rachel Maddow was more than they could bear.
