Our faculty union's data show a remarkable increase in the admin/faculty ratio. Larger class sizes are one influence, but also an explosion of the number of administrators, in part on the campuses, but even more so in the bloated system offices. Even more remarkable is the increase in the ratio of their wages -- especially at the top - to the rest of the campuses'.
