The white male blue-collar workers I referred to are also resentful about women's relative success in the market place in recent decades (i.e., the rise in the female/male wage ratio) and so go for Rush Limbaugh's rhetoric about "feminazis," etc. I could go on... In any event, are there any polls or other data that (1) show a hiving off of a significant number of blue-collar workers from the DP and into the GOP in recent decades and (2) help explain why they have done so?
