The WSJ story on a battle to hire prestige economists noted that Stanford has 
"... a growing cadre of behavioral and 'experimental' economists..."

Should they have had rational expectations and more cheaply hired these people 
years ago?

Mainstream academic economics departments get even weirder as time goes by.
