It might be better for certain purposes. It is not better because it is genetically modified but it may be better because it has the same protective qualities as normal human milk as contrasted with bovine milk.. Almost all insulin now is genetically modified and identical to human insulin. With most people it works far better than the older animal insulin. A few people seem to do better on the animal insulin but the market is so small it is becoming more expensive and difficult to get. Often a type of e coli bacteria are used to produce the insulin. I use insulin to control my type II diabetes. I find it works far better than pills.
