Most of what I wrote was based on an online book that can be read here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/economics/pg/modules/ec928/details/arbdist.pdf I objected strongly to their discussion of Argentina as a kind of economic failed state without once referring to Britain's role in developing underdevelopment in Argentina. I am not a student of Robinson and Acemoglu but don't have much time for woolly-headed liberal economists.
