BTW & FWIW, unlike in the British I.S., a lot of people in the old
U.S.-based International Socialists didn't think that the old Soviet
Union was "state capitalist." Instead, like the über-sectarian
erstwhile associate of Trotsky Max Schachtman, they saw it as
"bureaucratic collectivist," a new kind of class society.
