Which leaves such thinkers very confused about the corporate form of business enterprise. In mainstream economics the firm is simply a cost curve which applies equally to the a local dinner and a multinational corporation. This way of thinking then hides the insight of Martin Sklar in which, "corporations are as much socialist as they are capitalist entities."
