The victory of Bashar al-Assad will strengthen reaction throughout the reason, as indicated by his passionate defense of Sisi's coup in Egypt. Years from now historians of the left will have a hard time figuring out why so many leftists would become such diehard supporters of a dictatorship on the most specious "anti-imperialist" grounds.
