Odd. I always assumed that the rise in minimum wages was related to 
struggles led by fast food workers et al. In any case, the reason the 
Democrats got pounded in the midterm elections was because wages had 
stagnated. The "recovery" meant more jobs in the low-wage service 
industries.

In any case, all this is besides the point since Hilary Clinton will do 
nothing to redress economic inequality. If she is elected, it will only 
be because the Republican was seen as more scary. However, if Jeb Bush 
or some other "RINO" is the nominee, you can expect an all-out assault 
on working people and minorities. The only alternative is one based on 
class, not empty populist rhetoric.
