As usual Hedges is rather prolix, but he's certainly got this right. Primary challenges only strengthen the machinery of the duopoly; Sanders is a Judas goat. Third party challenges are another matter. As is clearly shown by the insensate fury Democrats still exhibit at the name of Ralph Nader.
