As far as I am concerned, this settlement came easy for the university. Somebody pointed out that this is half a year's salary for the football coach. Salaita took the package because he was economically desperate. I don't think the university will make such a big mistake in the future but I wish some Arab billionaire had stepped in to fund him for the long haul. Of course, all Arab billionaires have much more in common with Phyllis Wise than ever had with Salaita...
