A better question: Why do student protest movements at elite private
universities get such disproportionate attention from left activists, as
opposed to comparable tendencies at working-class public universities?

Not from the bourgeois media, mind you. We can all do the math on that one
ourselves. But from other activists across the country. This is very odd.

Personally, I often share Raghu's instincts when it comes to challenging
historical figures and symbols, from Woodrow Wilson to the Confederate
flag. But then, I'm white and none of these things feel like attacks on me
or my community. That's not an insignificant distinction.
