Ah, yes. All those smug predictions by the Blairites and the rest of the 
British political establishment that the Oldham by-election would see the 
Labour vote collapse, justifying an early party coup by the old guard against 
the new Corbyn leadership.

Instead, Labour's share of the vote was up 7.5% from the general election in 
May. It's another shock for the Corbyn haters who are already and predictably 
spinning the result as a victory "in spite of Corbyn rather than because of 
him."
