If the day arrives that Sanders implements his New Deal program (don't hold your breath) and if he then insisted that he had fulfilled the socialist vision, the sectarian's eagerness to dwell on the accurate label for Sanders would be relevant for political activity. Today, though, the fact that Sanders calls himself a socialist has become an opening for advancing political life.
