Yes, this has taken a funny turn. I didn't realize that Louis' quote was 
from the Master himself -- though of course I should have recognized it 
-- and it tweaked a perennial pet peeve of mine, quite unpolitical in 
character, namely people's tendency to provide more information than 
they need to. E.g. 'Notre Dame Cathedral, in Paris, France.' Well, where 
else would it be? Paris, Kentucky?

Not even a tempest in a teapot, in other words.

Of course I agree that 'essentializing' the difference between 
productive and unproductive labor is a fairly futile undertaking.
