This is a complete muddle. If you want to know how England went from feudalism to capitalism, you study the disintegration of feudalism and its causes, which occurred before the sixteenth century. Confused discussion of the latter, including the quotation from Saint E. Mandel and the mischaracterization of Maurice Dobb, is no substitute.
