It's true. He is pulling his punches as far as Obama is concerned. The approval rating for Obama among African-Americans who are likely to vote in South Carolina is something like 90 percent. Meanwhile Sanders is being attacked in the establishment media for having surrogates like Cornel West and Killer Mike who criticized Obama very harshly. So, he is sitting out the "revisit the African-American understanding of Obama" battle to fight other fights.
