Hi,

I have enclosed the WORD formatted letter for your perusal, as the following

Bill Gates’s Clean-Energy Moon Shot

Famous people do famous things and that’s for sure.

I have interests neither in making “money out of this thing” nor “benefit
from your invention or your trade secrets” as he does, but then those
things are what’ve made him famous in the first place. But I do want to
congratulate him for his efforts to hire more STEM (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics) workers desperately trying to find work than
currently available on the labor market.

Moon shot or not, the question remains whether his clean energy sources can
compete without or with only limited financial incentives/subsidies with his
peers’ C. O. G. (Coal-Oil-Gas) energy sources. Let’s leave his personal
energy investment in nuclear energy source out for the moment, the short
answer is no unless basic energy research workers can find and bring in, on
the market, renewable sources as cheap and profitable as C.O.G. sources. In
the world of capital, machineries that last “forever” simply cannot
survive the capitalist logic just as perpetual motion cannot beat physics.

One may question my line of thinking for this matter by saying how about
finding or even synthesizing a new, safe, non-subsidized and
non-oxidization-based fuel as a viable replacement of the C.O.G.? Nothing is
impossible, but how likely this can be brought into effect and not into some
miracles?
