You don't understand: the tempolates of 1917 or 1967 can be applied directly, without modification, to the present. It has to be that way. If you've been looking abroad for revolution for your whole political career, you just can't admit to yourself, much less others, that there are no revolutionary forces out there today. Well, there's Chavez, but that's nonviolent, so a lot less exciting.
