given its rising status among capitalist powers, it makes sense for China
to be a bit paranoid. Even paranoids have enemies.

I wasn't trying to "win." Not everything is a competition
(at least for me).
 
What's important is a clear-eyed view of what's going 
on and what might happen in the future.
