Okay. Yesterday's question were too easy. Here's one to stump the list. How the hell can KKR, Halliburton's giant subsidiary, keep losing money over and above its asbestos problems no matter how much money the government shovels its way?

What is KKR? I never heard of it. What does it do or allegedly do?

KKR is Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, the 1980s leveraged buyout (LBO) firm. Michael means KBR, Kellogg Brown & Root, the Halliburton subsidiary that provides everything from base construction to food for the U.S. military.
