Mostly, yes.  It sounds like your exchange with Doug has clarified things.

It has been a while since I have seen these statistics and don't have
access to them just now; also I haven't seen the fine print on the stats
Doug cited (there are lots of flavors).  And again: I am thinking in terms
medium term averages, not peak to present.  But from memory, I recall that
there was a very very slight increase in hourly real compensation - all
categories of workers.  Can't give a reference though.
