yes. Seriously, the opposition arises because capitalism is a contradictory system. The underlying class antagonisms, imperial relations between countries, etc., etc. have reflections not only in actual struggle but also in the ideas of some people. It's true, as Marx and Engels wrote, that the dominant ideas of any time normally reflect the interests of the ruling class.
