I mentioned before that my father is about to turn 95.  He lives in a gated 
community in
Boca Raton.  The hurricane hit pretty badly.  Neighbors that he hardly knew 
came around and
removed a large tree branches in his driveway and then took a leaf blower to 
clean it so
that he could avoid slipping.  They were surprised by the generosity.

His next-door neighbor, Jean Shackelford's cousin, has always gone out of his 
way to help
my father.  He took an extension cord from his generator so that my father 
could have an
outlet for lamp or a toaster.
